Homework Help

Homework HelpNeed help on your homework?  OK no problem, you have several different options and here are some of them.  The first of which is to get help from your classmates.  If it is a graded assignment, sometimes getting help from your classmates is frowned upon.  Can you get help from your teacher or professor?  If your teacher is willing, you might be able to stay after class or meet with a professor during office hours and get extra help.  Teachers definitely appreciate students coming to see them for extra help, because it shows that you are trying to succeed in their class.

Finding help from a classmate is easy.  If you have friends in a class, ask them if they are willing to help you or start a study group.  It might be that they are willing to help you for free.  If not, paying them something for their time will surely be worth it in the long run.  While working with someone else, you will be able to ask any questions you might have about the class material, and get help on homework and assignments.

tutoring helpFor sure one of the best methods to find help in your classes is to ask your professor or teacher.  Many times the teachers are willing to revel who is doing the best in the class and tell you how to get in touch with them.  The student that is getting the best grades is not always the best person to get help from, but it is surely a start.  You might even be able to develop a relationship with the best student in the class where you are able to call the student and ask them for help on homework.  Sometimes when you get stuck on homework all it takes is just asking someone else for advice and you will be on your way with the assignment.

Math TutorAs previously mentioned, I am a firm believer in finding help on the internet.  Not only can you search for tutorials on how to do a math problem or how to solve a physics problem, but you can find a tutor.  A paid tutor could help you greatly.  Many tutors start at only $20 an hour.  That would surely be worth it, if you were able to get a B on a test instead of an D or worse.  There is something to be said for having someone right there at your side while you are doing you homework that can answer your question or tell you how to do something.  The internet can be a great resource for finding a tutor.
